I would like to thank Mike Ditka for everything that he has done. He has done a lot by extending himself. He is a recognized person still in the business and he has given us a platform and I really appreciate what he is doing.

The NFLPA has not allowed injured players access to disability benefits and until they do orgs like the Gridiron Greats are helping us to get through these difficult times.

It is a nice thing to do. It is too bad that the NFL, a league that is so sucessful has turned their backs on the individuals that got us there.

They help with expenses. I have had to spend 500,000 on medical bills. It has been difficult. My plan is to continue to be an advocate for disabled players until the NFL does the right thing. Right now there is so much greed that the NFL does not care about the NFL players.

Roger Goodell has said, "I will rely on the facts". However, our facts continue to fall on deaf ears.

If the situation does not change. The players playing today will be in the same position we are now with no union to represent them, We need to continue our battle.

The Groom Law group represents both the NFLPA and the NFL. How can this not be a conflict of interest?

As players we made choices our families did not. When the NFL will not allow medical benefits we were promised then they changed the deal. All we are asking for is to pay the bill. We are hard workers, we do not want charity.

The system needs to be fixed. It is broken and does not work. I appreciate what the Gridiron Greats are doing and the players that are supporting it. A lot of the name players are supporting us.

All we are asking for is for the NFL to fulfill their obligation.
